Water traffic safety

Recently, the marine department carries out activities on campus about water traffic safety. To send students safety vest and some books about water traffic safety, and also to explain the safety of water and attention to the matter on the scene, to guide the students use the life-saving equipment correctly.

What’s the meaning of water traffic safety? Simply said: is engaged in the water transport of the ship, goods, passengers of personal safety. This primary school is located in the Yangtze River, a lot of students' home is on the Yangtze River or the other side of the Yangtze River. Every day, students need to take a boat across the river to school, so popularize the water safety knowledge to students becomes very urgent. Engineering and technical personnel of the Marine Department required the students: "do not use undocumented vessels, cargo ships, fishing boats and the ship for overload; avoid to take a boat when it rains heavily, foggy or strong waves outside; when in a boat every students must wear a life jacket or buoyancy, do not chase and playing in the boat.”

Why do life vests have to use orange color? Because the sharks in the sea are afraid of orange, it will run when saw orange. Life vests also have a bright card, which is made in reflective materials, in order to help to see the drowning person in the night.
