The EU market requires the safety vest must be complying with the newest EN ISO 20471 standard. Which requires the minimum reflective coefficient must be higher than 330cd. It is the basic level. But if you just wear the safety vest when you are walking on the road, then it is the most economic item. But if you are an electrician, I think the FR reflective tape is greatly recommended. It will avoid you get injured from electric arc. If you are a firefighter, the aramid reflective fabric is essential, as the FR feature won’t get weaken after several times washing.
